INTERVIEW
Introduce yourself…
There’s not much to know about me to be honest. I just enjoy playing football, listening to music and sometimes going out with friends and family.
What do you remember most vividly about your first few weeks at Tottenham’s academy? Was there a particular moment that made you realize you were at an elite level?
I knew when I went there it was an elite level. I was just focused on getting better, everyone has their time.
Can you describe a typical day in the life of a Tottenham youth player? What did training, recovery, and personal development look like during your time there?
Different people done different things but you obviously eat when your get there maybe some treatment or some exercise that u need to work on and get stronger then train eat again which would be lunch then gym and pool day was pretty straightforward just got more to help u perform to be honest.
Which coaches or senior players at Tottenham had the biggest influence on your development, and what lessons from them still stick with you today?
There were 3 of them whose names I won’t mention, but they definitely changed the way I saw things at a certain time in my career and helped me become the player I am today.
Scoring twice on your debut for Sierra Leone in a 2–1 win against Congo is a remarkable feat. How did it feel to represent your country and make such an immediate impact?
Yeah it was a proud moment. I was just happy I could help the team win, so definitely a good feeling.
After your release from Tottenham in June 2023, you had trials with Werder Bremen and Huddersfield Town. Can you share how these experiences influenced your mindset and career decisions?
This point I was in was definitely the worst and definitely the hardest point in my career so I went on trail to 14 clubs roughly from 2023 may to 2024 feb. I was going around Europe and up and down England. Was hard but in life u just have to find a way to get where u want to get u so I kept going and ended up finding myself at Wealdstone.

What factors led you to sign with Wealdstone FC in February 2024, and how has the move impacted your development as a player?
I think it helped me develop playing men’s football which is what I needed at that time.
Your assist in the 1-0 FA Cup win against Grimsby Town and your goal in the 2-0 victory over Rochdale were standout moments. Can you walk us through these plays and what they meant to you?
Yeah again I think I was pretty consistent. Last season wasn’t perfect but I feel like I done enough for my teammates and the team but definitely felt good.
In the 2024/25 season, you’ve been noted for your performances as a right-sided midfielder, earning the Supporters’ Player of the Month award in November. What aspects of playing in midfield do you find most rewarding?
I can just be free and play my own game. It feels more natural for me to play there.
Looking ahead, where do you envision your career in the next five years, and what steps are you taking to achieve those goals?
Definitely a proud moment for me because it hasn’t been easy but everyone’s path is different if u want it u have to find a way to make it happen. I’m looking forward to see the player I become playing at this level.
