Louise Brown right wingback at Montrose WFC.

My playing style is to constantly give 100%, be hungry every game, fight for every ball and never give up.

Handle pressure through believing in yourself and believing in your teammates around you. Never put your head down, you’ll get the next one.

I initially didn’t want to transfer to girls team as playing with the boys is all I had known but it was a great set up and I progressed loads at Buchan.

I remember thinking I would be unfit against a higher club than what I was currently at. I approached Aberdeen for trials to see if I could push myself after just becoming a mum. I showed up to training and was first finishing in any fitness runs. I was excited to try push myself at a higher club but I personally didn’t enjoy my experience there.

Craig had tried to encourage me to Montrose for years but the travel put me off. My experience t Aberdeen blow my confidence and I was happy to retire and focus on my boys but Craig called me and he was really keen to take me under his wing. Having a manager who cared and wanted you to personally progress is what made it easy for me to finally say yes.

Honestly I can hardly remember what happened in last week games let alone that far back. I just remembered Jade being annoyed about it as it got me closer to the golden boot.

Amazing feeling, I have a lot of self-doubt so to achieve that in my first year with Montrose was just incredible. Always try stay positive and remind myself of how good I can/have been.

All of them.. Mainly awareness, moving the ball sharper- being aware of the next move/pass I’m making and shooting.

Personally I just want to keep working hard, keep trying to improve game by game. Keep a positive head for the season, juggling work, football and kids can take its toll at times but I just look to give my best in all I do. Team goals is just the same, give our best and don’t roll over when times get difficult. We are a club that will never give up, we look to do the same this season.
