I am a 22 year old central midfielder who is physical aggressive and hardworking, I like to get on the ball and make things happen and like to battle and win duels.

Off the pitch I am a father to my two beautiful boys Finley and Enzo, they are my full life along with my partner Elise and my family such as my mum dad brother sister and my grandparents etc.

At East Kilbride I played with a lot of good players , good professionals but I feel it was more of the staff such as Martin Fellowes (Fez) who helped me with my development as well as Kevin Rutkiewicz who gave me my senior debut.

with the loan to Cumbernauld colts it really came about due to a lot of players moving on from East Kilbride as well as staff meaning most went to St Cadocs but for me it was about trying to play as high a level as I could and Cumbernauld colts asked me to come in and play a game against Alloa, which I did and I impressed in and they offered me a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Funnily enough Albion Rovers was my local team, with being from Coatbridge I had went to Albion Rovers games growing up and I knew how much it meant to their supporters to win games and give the local people something to be happy and excited about, the gaffer at Albion Rovers and the assistant as well couldn’t have been better with me , they were a huge part of me moving on up the leagues as I was happy there and was playing some of my best football.

I wouldn’t say the level of competition and expectation’s changed it was more of just working as hard as I can as I always did , the level of lowland to the SPFL leagues isn’t as big a jump as I expected.

The manager at the time was very keen to get me in and he had a plan for me to come in and play as long as I performed and the feeling of being wanted and playing regular football appealed to me massively as you are only going to improve playing games.

Leaving Kelty Hearts and joining Dumbarton on a permanent wasn’t a difficult decision, Dumbarton had looked after me and helped me learn new parts of my game, I also feel I am a key player at Dumbarton and this is something that’s vital to me improving every game and training session while having a responsibility.

Returning to Dumbarton FC was a good moment for me as I felt happy at Dumbarton and it’s an amazing group of boys who work hard and play and train well, hopefully we can start to pick results up and start climbing the table as I feel performances have been good it’s just moments that are letting us down.

It’s not a question I have thought about too much as Football is a crazy game and things can change so quickly, you genuinely don’t know what’s round the corner so for me it’s about always being the best I can and having no regrets as you can’t turn back time and wish you did things differently, I hope to be playing professional football for as long as possible as well as having as much time for my family as well. Playing in the highest league I can and potentially playing in a different country would be a good experience too.
